"Job interview
When you apply for a job with A.P. Moller - Maersk, you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt of your application within 72 hours. If you have applied via the job portal you will receive an acknowledgement immediately after application, if you have been registered with us.
All applicants fulfilling the basic job requirements will be invited to an interview.
The first interview will focus on you as a person, including what motivates and interests you. An important part of the interview is that we get to know your personal qualities. Once we have an understanding of your formal needs and experience we can evaluate whether or not we have a job in which you could thrive and do your best.
As part of the interview, we ask you to take an assignment. The first interview lasts about 45 minutes, including the assignment.
If you have attended an interview, you will receive a written response within 14 days, either in the form of an invitation to another interview or a rejection.
Those applicants who are best matched to our vacancy will be invited to a further one or two interviews in which we will explore more thoroughly your professional and personal qualifications. You will also be asked to perform some additional tasks at these interviews.
We apply the principle of ‘the best person for the job’. This means that age, gender, nationality or religion do not determine who gets the job.
Interview
All applicants who meet the formal requirements for the job are invited to an interview.
The goal of the interview is to get to know you so that we can evaluate whether we have a job you will be able to thrive in and where you can do your best. Part of the interview involves how you perceive yourself and what your career ambitions are.
As part of the interview you will be asked to complete a test. This, together with the interview, gives us a picture of you as a person and what your strengths are. You will receive feedback on the test in the interview.
Our advice to you is:
* Consider the interview to be like a conversation – not an examination. We are not looking for specific answers to our questions, but rather how you answer them.
* Try to answer in a structured way, based on what you really think.
* If you do not understand a question, ask for clarification.
* Please call and cancel your appointment if you are sick or cannot come at the agreed time for whatever reason. Then we can make another appointment to discuss your possibilities with us."
